The JavaScript wrapper and the FFmpeg core have different licenses.
The core includes GPL components such as x264 and follows the corresponding
FFmpeg and bundled-library license conditions. Do not describe the core as
MIT-only. GPLv2 and GPLv3 texts are distributed alongside the core.

The original, unmodified npm package is included in the deployment bundle's
third-party directory, with the package identity and reproducible download URL.
The same-version build scripts and component sources must remain available
under the applicable licenses when redistributing or modifying this core.
No codec encoder is accessed remotely. Video bytes never leave this browser.
